We’ve been working hard at EYExplore to bring you something different from our usual experiences: a 10-day photography workshop in Japan! We’ve had this on our minds for years, and finally we are proud to present it to you. The workshop will run from March 29 to April 8, 2020, starting in Tokyo and finishing in Kyoto, with a one-day excursion to Osaka along the way.
Highlights include: a photo shoot with a geisha in Kyoto, a helicopter flight over Tokyo, street photography in the cyberpunk streets of Tokyo, exploration of Tokyo’s ‘shitamachi’ districts with Lee Chapman, black and white street photography with Laurence Bouchard, and of course, plenty of opportunities to photography the cherry blossoms. Check out the detailed itinerary for more info.
Lukasz, Charles, Axel, and Paul will be running the workshop on the day-to-day, meaning you will get diverse perspectives on photography from multiple instructors. The workshop is up to 9 people, but since we will always have two instructors available it means you will get plenty of attention and hands-on coaching. Between all of members of the EYExplore team, we have many decades of experience photographing in Japan. And we wish to share that experience with you!
