Who I am
Originally from Germany and now based in Tokyo, I have spent the past seven years working as a professional architecture and documentary photographer. My style is defined by geometric shapes, bold perspectives, and strong leading lines. Since moving to Tokyo, I’ve begun blending architectural scenes with portraiture and street photography, always striving to create a unique dialogue between the city and its people.
What I do at EYExplore
I lead photography workshops in Tokyo, inviting people to take a deeper dive behind the neon curtain and explore the city’s dark, hidden corners and alleyways.
Where I explore
I love wandering through West Tokyo, where local communities still retain their unique character, traditions, and a slower pace of life.
Why I love photography
For me, photography is the perfect blend of visual storytelling and design. I’ve always been drawn to strong geometry and symmetry, and through photography, I can express this passion most clearly.
