Who I am

A Swedish photographer/journalist who arrived in Tokyo back in 2008. I've covered Japan for international media since 2010, both in text and photographs. For the last few years I've worked increasingly with the domestic tourism industry, giving me an unforgettable opportunity to explore every corner of Japan!

What I do at EYExplore

I plan and conduct Photo Adventures. My first one is in the industrial landscape of Kawasaki.

Where I explore

Everywhere, but I'm primarily interested in spots off the beaten track, where the hordes of tourists still haven't managed to find their way, both in Tokyo and elsewhere in the country.

Why I love photography

It has proved to be a great outlet for my creativity, and also a means for me to live the kind of life I was dreaming of as a child—where new adventures and experiences are always around the corner.
