Photograph taken on Tokyo Vertigo by Angela Pan
Read on for more details about how this shot was taken.
1. How did you capture this image? What gear/settings did you use?
First, Axel made us climb this spiral staircase to the rooftop. It was fun and adventurous at first, then it got tiring, but then when we reached the top it was totally worth it. The view was incredible!
A totally different view of Tokyo that I bet many tourists don’t get to see. The walk spaces were a little small but you didn’t need too much space because there were amazing angles in almost every direction. All you have to do is turn your camera a little bit and there was this awesome new composition.
F11 for 6 seconds ISO 500 on my Sony A7II with my wide angle lens 16-35mm. The rooftop ledge was my tripod.
2. Where are you from?
Fairfax, VA, USA
3. What is your background in photography?
I first became interested in photography when I was in high school. I thought it would be an easy “A” class so I took it just so I could hangout with my friends and take pictures of them. Little did I know I would fall in love. I haven’t looked back since.
4. Can you share your online portfolio or blog with us?
Yes. My homepage is www.abpan.com
